Welcome to Gay Says our area for Queer Culture Writing
We are writing this blog because we are tired of seeing our LGBTQ community used as leverage by the media, politicians, and businesses. Often, people see us as easy votes, money bags, and an excuse for an argument. This blog was born from the desire to help identify gay problems and provide gay answers.
Why do this? Well, two reasons mainly.
I want gay thoughts to be written by gay people.
Also, we have to be the change we want to see.
So that you can better understand this blog, I’ve written some points to give context. I hope it can help you know why we’ve taken on the arduous task of sharing my thoughts.
So, Why am I blogging publicly? Because in today’s world people victimize and manipulate our community. Understanding how this happens and what to do to combat this can keep us safe.
What will I cover in this blog? Any problems related to being gay and mistreated by the masses.
Who would I love to connect with via my blog? Any gay person who feels used and abused should read this blog for great tips on staying safe and identifying pretenses with their eyes closed.
I hope that this blog can serve some gay person somewhere. Heterosexuals overlook and disregard us, so now it’s time to defy the norms of society.

First, we offer you tips about how to stay safe and information to help you understand us in the lifestyle section of the blog.
So, if you want anything related to pop culture and queer representation, you can find all of our posts about this in the pop culture area of our website.
Next, we give you fresh new takes on queer politics in the UK and USA that relate to the LGBTQ community.
Lastly, you can become an activist. We need to stick together as an LGBTQ community. We talk about the horrible things that happen to us and what we can do to stop them.
Our inspiration comes from education websites such as The Association of LGBTQ Journalists and government websites in English and Spanish like Whitehouse.gov. Sometimes, we find interesting information from sites like PopMatters.
Have a gay day!
